Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Monster Designs!

So after my next battle on Void I'm going to be doing a BB where Angie goes to her homeland. It's an island populated by monsters of all sizes, shapes, forms, etc. When I mentioned I'd be doing a BB about it a while back,

expressed interest in designing some monsters for it. I wanted to see if anyone else was interested in doing monster designs for the island. I don't know how many designs I'll actually use since I want to design my own too (I love designing monsters as much as I love eating chocolate), but I figured I'd throw it out there if anyone wanted to do it.

So yeah, if you wanna design a monster that might appear in my next BB toss it my way. I can't guarantee that I'll use every design since I'd only like to use a handful at the most since otherwise I'd be pretty lazy. If I use your design of course you'll be given credit.

I'll probably slowly be revealing concept art for the island itself, the architecture of the villages, etc. soon.

Aw man if I could draw I'd have SO many ideas for you with the monsters. LOL Hm, they'd probably all end up looking like dragons though since I'm still so obsessed with them...

I've got to take the time to go over the comics you've already done and then give you my thoughts on them. There's just so much cool stuff in that gallery...I have to say too that Angie seriously is someone I'd not want to cross in a dark alley...
